City of Bemidji

The Project

Anderson developed landscape and civil design and construction drawings for a grant-funded project to remove historic logging and sawmill debris, and contaminated sediments over a 5.5 acre portion of city-owned land on the south shore of Lake Bemidji. Anderson engineers and landscape architects coordinated with the DNR and USACE to develop a native planting plan and prairie grass pallet to re-establish natural shoreline areas during the restoration process, as well as a new public beach area.
