Vadnais Heights Sports Complex
The Project
Anderson provided civil engineering, site planning and land survey services for this redevelopment project. The existing site vacant commercial buildings and cracked parking lots were transformed to a vibrant mixed-use project. The centerpiece was a new two-rink ice arena and attached sports dome. An existing restaurant on site was kept operational throughout construction.
What We Delivered
Challenges included providing storm water management on a tight site and designing to maintain existing uses. Commercial outlot “pad sites” were also platted on the three corners of the project for complementary uses. In following years Anderson completed design for a private academy and financial institution to complete the development.
