Overview
Responsibilities
- Be a part of a 2-person Survey Crew, responsible for assisting our Survey Crew Chief in field surveys
- Instruction on how to operate survey equipment, mainly Trimble R-12I GNSS GPS, S7 Trimble Robotic
- Total Stations, Trimble X7 scanner, DJI Matric 300 Drone with photogrammetry and lidar capabilities. and AutoCAD civil 3D.
- Set wooden stakes and boundary corners, cut and clear brush, trees, etc.
- Maintenance of survey equipment and vehicles.
- Additional opportunities to assist with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, easement preparations, legal descriptions, and computing survey points.
Qualifications
- Physical, able to walk around large survey projects.
- Ability to carry survey equipment and supplies in remote, rural or urban surroundings
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk longer distances
